Roger N. Braden has been a medic, registered nurse, lawyer and author. He has traveled to the four corners of our country, most of the states and a handful of foreign countries. Over the course of many years he has met people from many, many different walks of life.
He is amazed as how in thousands of scenarios seemingly ordinary people, accomplish so much and make such huge contributions to our world. Roger’s first two books in his journey as an author “War and Chaos” and “Always at the Edge of Death – The Life of a Coal Miner”, deal with such persons. |
“War and Chaos” tells the stories of our military heroes who have served, and were injured or killed in the line of duty and their families. The book takes us from pre-World War 1, through the travesties of World War 2 and our greatest generation, to the more recent wars displaying the greatness that still exists in our present generations.
“Always at the Edge of Death – The Life of a Coal Miner” tells the stories of coal miners and their families, and dangers they face on a daily basis, and details true survival stories of some who came face-to-face with death. The book discusses the toll suffered by their families and burdens placed on our society. |
